SUSTAINABLE AND SEASONABLE

Plantina Flowers respect nature in our work, trying not to cause damage but enhance its infinity beauty that it shares with us. For this reason we decided not to use floral foam, non-recyclable materials, cellophane and single use plastic. Our arrangements are eco-friendly; after the event you can just compost or reuse them.

We use seasonal and Italian flowers, enriched with foraged foliage or flowers harvested in our garden that we grow without using pesticides or chemicals. When possible we buy directly from flower farms

GARDEN INSPIRED

In our arrangements we also like to include elements we forage in the meadows or in our garden in order to add differing shades, tones, shapes and scents.

Nature is a huge and infinite source of inspiration.

From 2020 we’ve been a member of Slow Flowers Italy, further showing how we are committed to pursuing, in my little corner, this sustainable and new vision of floristry.

ABOUT US

Plantina is a project born in 2020, founded by Martina, a freelance florist based in Gemona del Friuli, Udine.

Martina designs bespoke floral arrangements for your corporate or private events, weddings, shop’s displays or photo shootings and I am willing to travel in northern Italy, Austria and Slovenia.

After an experience in London in 2018, where I attended the Covent Garden Academy of Flowers, Covent Garden Academy of Flowers, I decided to bring my project to life here in Friuli-Venezia Giulia. More specifically, in my home town of Gemona del Friuli, in the meadows and gardens where I grew up and I learnt about flowers and their stories.” – Martina

Since January 2021 Plantina Flowers is a flower Studio: a space where welcome clients, for our meetings and to create something together.
